How to buy parts for Amigo from Europe?

Hi there!
I have Amigo 98 that give me a lot of fun. But recently when adding some coolant I lost radiator cap. You don't know how hard to find is another Amigo on the street in Poland. Buying parts for non European cars is very difficult. So I would like to ask if anybody know dealer or online shop willing to ship parts to Europe? I will be very grateful for your help.

Cheers

The problem with the Amigo is that it's North American/Asian. It was sold in Europe as the Opel/Vauxhall Frontera, but I believe it came with a different powertrain. If you can find someone who can service Isuzu, you might be in luck since the underhood equipment in the Amigo was very similar to that found in pickups and other body-on-frame Isuzus.

You could POSSIBLY find an Opel dealer and locate some parts that might work.

Re: How to buy parts for Amigo from Europe?

Thank you Hudson for your advice, but it is not so easy. Opel/Vauxhall Frontera is similar but not the same car.

Watch this Opel:

Compare to this Amigo, see engine pictures:

Isuzu never been present in Europe (maybe trucks?). I got Frontera radiator cap (payd like $15) but it doesn't match. I have spend a lot of time checking junkyards and European ebay or allegro. Even on US ebay there is NO Amigo radiator cap. No success. That is why I need exactly Isuzu parts from USA.
Does anybody know place to buy this little cap that will save my nerve?

Opel Frontera, This site link tends to be in your area and maybe they can steer you to options : http://moto.allegro.pl/12605_fronter...r=t&view=gtext

Possible best option is a local radiator repair shop.

Actually, looking at some of the listed vehicles on that site have paint color options I haven't seen before.

yeah i would stay with the dealer oem to make sure you have the correct pressure rating, etc. i suggest 2 sources from the states that i know ship overseas, though the shipping will cost of course
the first is JLEMOND ...jerry lemond... who is an ex usa isuzu tech trainer and runs a business outside atlanta, georgia usa selling isuzu oem parts and working on them and giving excellent advice from all who ask on forums or emails. he has very good prices and excellent service.

the other is UNDERDOG...jake...who works in the parts department of an isuzu dealership in portland, oregon, usa. he offers excellent discounts and i know ships overseas.

the third is merlin at a dealership in missouri, usa, but i don't know about their overseas shipping policy.

for JLEMOND and UNDERDOG, i suggest you go to the forum they frequent and look them up in the search engine, click on their Profile button on one their posts, and send them a PM Private Message and they will get back to you.

this ought to get you what you want and good sources for you in the future.
good luck
