What or how do I convert my 1975 L48 to a L82????

Swap engines? Change the L48 singlke intake air cleaner to the L82's 2 intake? You didnt say if you wanted it stock,or modified.

Bob,

Is it safe to say you're kinda new to all this? The reason I ask, is there is almost no difference between the two engines. The L-82 is refered to as a "performance upgrade", but that's not a fair assessment. By modern and pre-'72 standards, both engines are slugs. Emmission controls and Federal standards during the mid-70s really hurt small block performance.

What would you like (performance level) your car to do? We can outline a very effective "build" that would use your current engine as a basis.
