Price for 98 malibu

Well I have a 98 malibu with 25,xxx miles on it. I want to sell it to get a good start on a teg or rsx(maybe?) but I don't think that kbb does the car justice. the car has all records and maitnence. along with original newspaper articles about the car from when it came out. It is a 98 malibu ls 4dr with only 25,xxx miles on it. the warrenty ran out on it before it even hit the miles. What would be a good price to start it at with OBO? I am gonna be selling this and my 88 prelude 2.0 si 4ws to get a good down payment but I know the malibu is worth more that what kbb says. how is a ten year older car worth the samed as my 88 apperently is. any oppinions would be nice. I don't mind constructve criticism.

sorry about the spelling

Re: Price for 98 malibu

Malibus simply aren't very desirable cars, even though yours is probably the best of the best of them, I don't think it could bring more than $4000.
