1997 blazer 4x4 problems

i have a v6, automatic blazer, with a body lift, so that could have caused problems, but when the ignition is on, the 4x4 buttons light up every 5 seconds, but they do it more ten three times. once started and put in gear, it goes fine in 2 hi i think, but ll the buttons flash, none stay lit to indicate the gear, i cannot figure out my problem.... any help would be greatly appreciated....

What transfer case?
Have you checked for codes?
Post back any codes.
97 is a bad year on ign switches.
Best to check that out to.

check how? i dont understand about this type of electronic crap... is there away to make all this manually operated?

No way to make it manual.
You are stuck with it on that year.

What transfer case?

If you want to get into it yourself I would suggest you get a good factory repair manual or a all data online sub.

If you do not have a engine/transfer case capable scanner best to find a repair shop that does.
Or if you do not want to DIY it find a good repair shop.
