Question bodykits

I was wondering if any of you guys know where to find a kit for an 89 240... I've already looked at the takakaira ones and as far as I have seen they dont make ones for my year... I just really recently got my car and no paper work on anything other than title.. how can you tell if its an s13? If any thing all the emblems on the car have been taken off... help..I know nothing about this car.. also if any of you have experienced a noise from the engine like a loose lifter what did you do to fix it?? Help me please...

hard to see from the pics...but from what i CAN see it looks nice.

anyways, your car would be considered an S13 hatchback (RPS13 180SX in Japan, RMS13 or RHS13 240SX over here). S13's were made from 1989-1994, and the RPS13 180SX was made until 1996. since the frame stayed the same for the entire model run, any body kit on takakaira should fit your car, no matter what year it says. 180SX kits are pretty much universal. if the kit will fit a 1993 180SX, then it will also fit a 1989 180SX, and will also fit a 1995 180SX etc.

I've heard of a couple people recently having that problem. It turned out it wasnt a lifter that was making the noise, but it was the timing chain hiting the upper chain gaurd. The upper chain gaurd isnt really needed so try taking that off and then drive your car and see if it still makes the noise.

Well it turns out that the noise wasnt anything major I do have a lifter making noise and if anyone knows can the rocker arms be adjusted?? If so what is the valve clearance?? The noise was actually my bottom bolt on my alternator..... the person who owned the car before me didnt take much care of it....
