Start up failing
I have a 1994 Jimmy that has a problem starting up HOT or Cold. It seems once it starts everything runs fine. No hesitation while at stops lights or braking. I could drive it for an hour and shut it off and then I would have to turn the ignition switch fully on and off several times before cranking the starter. Sometimes this would work and sometimes I would have to repeat the process. It might be a fuel pump failing or the fuel pump pulsator itself or perhaps something else. Any help would be much appreciated before I start the process of elimination. Thanks

Re: Start up failing
Check your fuel pressure with a pressure gauge. Your readings should be between 60 to 65psi with the ignition switch on. Pressure should stay above 55psi after 5 min with the switch off. Post us your findings.
