Chevy/ caprice logo on trunk?

I dont know why i haven't noticed this before but my caprice classic doesnt have any insignia on the trunk. Before i just thought it was the year but i've seen caprices of the same year with insignia. My car was repainted in the mid 90's and maybe the foreigners that worked at Maaco forgot to put it back on? Not really a big deal, just curious.

This picture might be too small to see but as i said before, not a big deal. Maybe i can get it at a junkyard or something.

A 1983 will have a large "CHEVROLET" on the passenger side of the decklid, about 2" from the edge and slightly below the centerline.

There is no 'Caprice Classic' or 'CAPRICE' on these cars decklids until 1986.

yeah i've seen several at junk yards, i kinda re-arranged mine as you can see in the pic, i even added a chevy bowtie emblem cause boxy caprices never had any:

I see you've changed your tail lights to the newer type. Looks good.

thanks, thats about the only mod i did do to the car, the rest i want to keep original
