Lockup convertor

Hello, I have a 1994 Cutless Supreme 3100 S and Im wondering where abouts the lockup convertor is on my eng.
I thought that since everytime I excelorate my car studders like its not connecting properly, then picks up soon after all the shaking.I thought it might be the lockup convertor causing the problem.

Re: Lockup convertor

This is in the trans not something that can be accessed or adjusted, the pcm applies it at about 50 mph, doesn't sound like your problem.

Re: Lockup convertor

No sensor just the wires at the trans. but this will affect shifting unless you disable just the wiring at the connector for the TCC. I still think you are on the wrong trac, the tcc only kicks in a steady throttle at 50. Have someone local who knows what's what road test the car for a diagnosis.
