New intake manifold, carb, exhaust. That might go over, however.

Seeing as how you're putting down right around 300rwhp now, that's not a very big deal...Intake and exhaust will do the trick. If you're looking for the most power you can possibly get for under $1000 though, go for a nitrous setup, or exhaust and a cam.

Airlid.
3.0" Exhaust. Exhaust cutout. for your LS1. Hooker Longtubes and a 3.0" exhaust for your 94 Z28.

I'm almost positive you could hook yourself up with a 50-shot nitrous kit for a grand or cheaper. I dunno, correct me if I'm wrong.

I know that camaro's have a cross flow muffler to make duels out the back, but can you run duels from the headers back on 94+ Camaros?

My uncle just sold his 94 Z28 for a new vette. But his Z ran 12.9 in 1/4, oh yea and its an auto. I dont remember everything he had, but from what I do, he had, headers, borla cat back, power programmer, upgraded ignition, and i think new throttle body. Not sure if all of this was on the car but it sounded sweet, and looked like a completely stock Z28.

horsepower
first of all sorry but you dont have 300 rwhp, you lose up to 20% of horsepower through the drivetrain so 320 at the wheels for under a grand might be a long shot. but intake exhaust manifold throttle body, headers. if you want that much power your gonna need to dish out way more than a grand

Hands Down>>
Precision Industries Torque Converter. At least 2800 stall. You will feel the power and not have to be adding parts that will be giving you 10-20 horspower for the same $ amount. They run about 700.00 dollars but boy will you get the power you are craving!

He might still be saving up for the 1K! You never know. But, somebody might have the same question as he did---and he might use the info.

It's possible, but his profile says his last post was a month and a half ago, and he's never responded to this thread...
