Flasher location

Where is the location of the flasher on a 1987 Trooper? In my previous posts, I mentioned that I was having problems with the turn signals and flashers. I replaced the combination switch with a known good one, and I am experiencing the same problems. My next step is to replace the flasher and the bulbs. I am having difficulty in finding the flasher. Where exactly is it located? Engine compartment or up under the dash? Help.
