check engine light

2004 dodge ram 1500 with the hemi
check engine light is on and it spits and spudders when engine is under 1500 rms. auto zone told me it was the egr valve. where is the egr valve?? and how much is it.

Contact the dealer there was a PCM reflash for that year and eng.
