Rules for old threads.

'97ventureowner, I respectfully disagree with your guidelines on posting in old threads, sometimes it takes months, even years for issues to completely play out, I have seen threads that were inadvertently closed because of 'expiration' that could have provided valuable closure. I request a re-look on this particular guideline, perhaps a warning when someone posts to an old thread.
