considering a Mazda 3
I am looking at buying a Mazda 3, 2006 and up.I was wondering how they measure up? Is there any year to avoid or consider more. I am basically interested in reliability and fuel economy. I was also wondering what people thought about them compared to a Chevy Cobalt?

Re: considering a Mazda 3
Four door or five door? I don't think there is any comparison with a Cobalt.
The Mazda 3 is good car for the cost, reliability, fuel economy and performance if you are interested in that type car. I don't have any thing good to say about a Cobalt but you'll get what you pay for. The MazdaSpeed3 version is awesome but made for high performance.

Re: considering a Mazda 3
actually, the performance is very comparable to the cobalt. The 3 handles a little better though.
