2003 Alternator Replacement
I have to change out my alternator on my 2003 Expedition due to the battery light coming on. I checked the output with a voltmeter and nothing is coming out, hence having to change the alternator. Any gotchas that I should know about before I begin? It looks fairly simple with the alternator up front and on top so hopefully looks aren't deceiving.
Thanks. MT |

Re: 2003 Alternator Replacement
R&R of the alternator is about a 40 minute job. Disconnect the battery, loosen the belt, disconnect/unplug the electricals from the alternator and remove the alternator mounting hardware. Replacement is reverse.
