Exclamation How much oil does your TC use ?

How much oil does your Towncar use between oil changes?
It might be time to replace those old valve stem seals on your car.

With fuel costs + oil being $107.86 a barrel,I think it's Time.

Re: How much oil does your TC use ?

I don't burn any oil

I've been using 10/30 Mobil1 since she turned 32k miles.. I bought her at 31k. I'm sure she used dinosaur oil before that, the PO kept meticulous service records.. but they don't mention brands.

I also keep all my tires overinflated just a bit to lessen road resistance... not so much to cause tread damage.

She's also well tuned, injectors clean, and filters fresh.

One thing I'm considering.. and it's off topic here.. I desperately need a cabin air filter. Here in the desert we have dust everywhere and it's always filling the vents so that when I fire 'em up I get a blast of desert in my face.. Grrrr %##@!!

It's also time, actually past time, this backward country (USA) starts dumping tons of money into fuel cell vehicles.
Leaving the oil companies and oil producing nations in control of world economy is no longer in our best interest.
