Question RHD Conversion

Hi so I have been thinking of a RHD conversion for a while now but wondered what I need I know it really isnt a hard swap. I am not worried about the firewall swap or anything just the wiring what all has to be done to the wiring so everything works right lik brake lights and head lights and all of that stuff?

Re: RHD Conversion

you shouldnt have to touch most of the wiring. just make sure all the steering column and dash wiring is extended to reach to the other side of the car. you could i guess just swap around the harnesses, i.e. use the left harness on the right side for tails/headlights, since the left side needs to be longer and the right side needs to be shorter. unless for some dumb reason your swapping driver sides with a KA, which is pointless. whatever other motor you use came in a RHD drive to begin with, so the ECU should be in the correct location and the harness should line up correctly.

i dont know if anyone has. i just came up with that off the top of my head. but it makes sense, all the wires still are the same, just switched.
