You have R12 in there. Freeze 12 will work in there as well at about $14 a can.

Re: 87 Tercel needs Freon???

Thanks. Someone told me it would be about around $100. Would you happen to know how much for a rebuit carb?? It stalls when I start it. I have to keep my foot on gas pedal. There is gas going into carb. After a while it smooths out nad it's fine. But I sure use a lot of gas. Thanks for your help

If all of the O-rings and seals are good in the A/C system then it will not cost that much. If you have a NAPA store near you they should have the Freeze 12 in stock. You will need someone that has a set of gages for the old R-12 to put the stuff in though.

I know nothing about the carb on that car. EFI is always easier for me!!!
