stalling

when i'm at a dead stop and hit the gas real quick, it sputters and doesn't wanna go. i have to ease it in.

if its carburated, sounds the the fuel/air mixture is out of wack. if it TBI (throttle body injected) it sounds like ur Throttle postion sensor is dead. if it has been sitting for a while, ur tank needs a damn good cleaning and ur intank fuel pump strainer (if applicabile) is clogged
