Cool 88 convertable, got a couple problems..

Hi thanks for taking the time to look at my thread. I recently purchased a 88' LeBaron convertable for $400. Great car so far, I feel I got a steal of a deal, but I have a couple issues I need to fix.

1. I replaced the temperature sensor (2.2l N/A) and plugged the wire back in, the car fired up, idled nicely for a couple seconds, the check engine light went off, good to go right? well not exactly. Now the rad fan doesnt want to run at all. I unplug the sensor and it runs constantly, which is how im driving it curently. Any ideas as to why the fan doesnt run with it plugged in?

2. I have no speedometer, or odometer readings on my digital dash. I read a thread on this forum where I learned its the speed sensor on the transmission. Great, my question is: What model/year cars can i take this from at the junkyard, and what is required to take it out. I could figure it out, but a little help would be much appreciated.

3. When i turn hard left for instance doing a U-turn, the car hops and the tire rubs on im assuming the inner fender well. Is this normal or is something loose in my front end? Let me know if anyone has any ideas, if not ill eventually get it to a shop to check it out.

Anyway that'll be enough for now, im sure i'll have more questions/concerns later. A little about the car, its an 88' LeBaron Premium, it is blue silver two tone with blue leather and black top. Power everything, was originally a turbo motor, but since has been converted to 2.2l N/A motor. Great car I hope I get to customize it a bit, but enjoy it stock in the meantime. Thanks Everyone Best of luck with your cars!

Justin
