Where is the PFE Hose?

Hi,

I have a 1995 Villager. I trying to locate the Pressure Feedback EGR hose. I was told it needed one.

Thanks in advance,

Re: Where is the PFE Hose?

I believe you are referring to the BPT hose.

Facing the vehicle from the front look on the backside of the plenum and the firewall on the driver side. The BPT hose is about 1/2" OD about 6 inches long. It goes from the EGR valve to the EGR Backpressure Transducer Control.

It is kinda a PITA to get to.

Re: Where is the PFE Hose?

Hi tempfixit,

I appreciate the help. I am not sure if it is the same. I know the BPT hose is related the fairly common check engine light problem. The light not on...repaired years ago. I will check it out.

Thanks again,

Nu_Sky

DPFE Hose?

These are small hoses that come off of the exhaust manifold to a sensor. These hoses are special hi-temp rubber also.
