Captain - We Got Water Coming In.

06 Tahoe - 4WD 5.3

Note sure if its condensate or water from the outside. Floor on passenger side soaked - I mean soaked. I can not find a condensate drain hose/line on the front but I did make sure the one in the rear is clear. Pulled the fan out and water ran out on floor. I have read about their being a leaking windshield problem also a clogged weep hole under the grill under the wipers.

Anyone have this problem or know where I should look? All suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks,

MC

Had same issue, and it was the AC "exchange" unit that is under the passenger side dash. If you run the AC does it get worse?

Re: Captain - We Got Water Coming In.

I have the same problem with my 99 tahoe 2dr, had the fan out, ducting out, the heater core checked and could find no sign of water not even the dust inside was disturbed? Mine is antifreeze green and shows up on my passenger side floor mat, problem is the soap I use to wash my truck is also green. So it could be a couple different things ? B

Re: Captain - We Got Water Coming In.

mine leaks too sometimes, but not all the time it would only leak during HEAVY RAINS. i could actually see it pouring in while driving on the passenger sideit was weird though, light or medium rain wouldnt get in, nor would high pressure water at the car wash. only HEAVY RAIN gets in while driving, running the A/C doesn't cause any leakage where is the weep hole? does it drain rainwater from the windshield?
