Air Bag

Is there a way to disarm the air bag system so the air bag light on the dash doesnt stay on.

Mine has the o-shit handles but there on the passenger side and in the back. Thats why i want to disarm the airbag so if i decide to go offroden or hit the ditch i dont want the airbag to go off.
