00 beetle turbo 1.8L = help I cant find my boost pressure wire harness plug

Does anyone know where the boost pressure wire harness plug is

I read that the boost pressure sensor is supposed to be mounted on the intercooler.

I just got my beetle back from the shop. I upgraded my intercooler to a new one, but now the boost pressure sensor is missing.

If you know where the wire harness plug is located let me know. I scaned along the fan wires, fuel injector wires and turn signal wires but i can not locate it!

can some one please check their 98 99 00 beetle turbo intercooler and tell me where that plug is located on the wire harness what plugs are close to this one?

The only help I can give is from the manual= it says:
Remove the right direction indicator lamp housing. Working through the direction indicator opening, disconnect the boost pressure sensor electrical connector....

So it must be in that general position.

Well I found the wiring to connect to the boost pressure sensor. I have ORANGE, PURPLE/GREY, and PURPLE/GREEN wires open

My problem is that the plug was cut off. Does anyone know what wires connect to where on the boost pressure sensor? maybe a picture of the wiring diagram to the boost pressure sensor will help.

I should thank the last guy for ripping the intercooler wiring off instead of disconnecting it! shouldnt I?

My wiring diagram only shows a "turbo charger divert valve" and a "charge pressure control valve"....this is despite mentioning a boost pressure sensor in the text.
I'll have to pm you as cannot figure how to attach wiring diagram here???
Colours are ge=yellow, sw=black,li=lilac, gn=green.

no, that is not the boost pressure sensor / thrust sensor
here is a picture of an aftermarket intercooler install with a boost sensor on it. i can not see how to wire up my sensor. i do not have a plug on my wire harness anymore!

Maybe it is the boost pressure sensor ---- "charge pressure control valve" could be taken to mean the same! Remember the manual is translated from German and it ain't unusual for meanings to be changed in the translation.
Also you indicate different colours....you say you have purple - maybe thats lilac. There are no purple wires anywhere in the wiring diagram and also no boost pressure sensor.

no it is not the boost pressure sensor. The boost pressure sensor fits flush on the intercooler and looks like this picture on the net. It is also in the 1.8L turbo Jetta Passat, GOLF, audi TT, audi A4
