95 CV cleaned MAF, now stalls

Hi all. I have a 95 Crown Vic that had a loud rattling coming from the engine when I would accelerate. Also some hesitation, trouble starting, and an erratic idle. On the advice of someone on this forum I cleaned the MAF sensor with a can of electrical contact cleaner. This seems to have completely fixed the original problems BUT now the car has a stalling problem. The stalls seems to happen especially when I am coasting into a turn. It happened 3 times in about an hour of driving yesterday so it's definately not a freak occurance.

thoughts?

Did you unhook the negative cable for about 3 mins? You have to let the car computer reset itself. Let us know if it keeps stalling. Because it could be a lot of things now that your car is getting the right amount of fuel and air mixture.

Thanks Iz1111! It looks like that worked. I've driven all over town today and no stalls whatsoever. I'm glad the fix was so easy.....I hadn't expected to need to reset the computer.
