JDM 1979 FAIRLADY Z-L 2by2 RHD
JDM RHD 1979 Fairlady Z-L 2by2/2+2 (GS130). To my knowledge this is the ONLY 79 Z-L in America and maybe the only Z-L of any year in America! The Z-L is the base version of the JDM GS130; it has non-power windows, manual steering, and no power mirrors. Any other S130 Fairlady I have seen has the power options installed. This car was brought over by a Navy man and must have ended up in Virginia Beach, VA, and that is where I bought it. I bought this car with a sever rot problem. The rot had eaten into the left-side frame rail and some rot on the left rear quarter panel. I hired a body shop that was known for this type of work to repair the issues. I had them cut out the bad frame rail and inner fender area. I then had them weld in a good section I had cut out of a good car. It is now strong as new. I also used the rear quarter from the good car to replace the rear quarter on the Fairlady. The hard and expensive work has been done by me. There are still some minor areas around the car that need to be worked on, but they could be rectified by the new owner or by a body shop. The car has no engine or transmission right now. It had a 2-ltr L20A and 5-spd when I bought it. I can include the parts to build an L20A. It has an R180 diff, but I can substitute in an R200.
About the Interior: I have saved all the interior parts that came with the car; dash, panels seats, etc. The interior is really very much the same as the USA, so you can use USA interior panels. The dash is the only real difference about RHD. Some of the panels and interior are OK, but others will need repair/replacement. I also have good doors, hatch, glass, fenders (modified for fender mirrors, you will need to get a set), etc. The car comes with everything in the photos, but not everything is pictured. Right now it has rims off another car of mine, but I will include some type of steel or alloy rims, or you can bring your own. Some questions I have gotten about RHD cars are: Q. Are the pedals the different than the USA? A. The answer is no, gas on the right, brake in the middle, and clutch on the left. Q. Is the gear shift different? A. No, the pattern is the same as the USA, only that the driver is on the other side. You still go into first to the left and up. MAKE YOUR OWN JDM LEGEND COME TRUE! RESTORE THIS TO ITS AWESOME ORIGINAL LOOK OR MODIFY IT INTO A DRIFT LEGEND OR FREEWAY RUNNER! I will now be taking offers for this car. I will consider all reasonable offers. Cash is preferred, but I also may consider whole/partial trades for other Z-cars, other Nissan cars, non-Nissan cars, Isuzu or Fuso trucks, non-car items. I can assist buyer in lining up transportation for this car by truck, etc. I could also rent a truck/trailer and transport to your location at my cost only. Inspection by appointment. Car is in Tulsa, OK. I can ship anywhere in the world at cost. Or you can arrange to pick up. NO SCAMMERS PLEASE! I CAN TELL WHO YOU ARE!

Re: JDM 1979 FAIRLADY Z-L 2by2 RHD
Not the only FairladyZ-L in North America.
We have a restored 1971 FairladyZ-L ... in Oregon. Pics are too large but if you do a BING search on 1971 FairladyZ-L a lot of pictures of it will come up. |
