I have a 1987 Accord LXi that is extremely hard to start when cold. Will start anytime during the day until it sits all night long.
Things that have been checked/fixed: idle control valve-replaced timing off one tooth-fixed injectors-replaced cold advance solonoid-checked distributor-rebuilt coolant system bled What's left? Sensor? Throttle body? ECU? Any ideas or anyone else had this problem?

Re: Accord Hard Cold Start
Turns over but won't start, acts like it not getting fuel.
Fuel pump has appox 36 psi. Has spark. Starts fine after it's started the first time that day. |

Re: Accord Hard Cold Start
check the coolant temp sensor... if its bad the engine wont know its cold and wont enrich the fuel mixture
