1985 318i elec prob

no dash indication(fuel gauge, tach, temp) I'm driving blind, the fan and a/c went out all at the same time. I recently realized that while starting the car the fan, gas gauge tach etc. worked while cranking. So I changed out the ignition sw. with no fix. and a of course when all this happened I check all the fuses. I need an elec diagram and or a point in the right direction. Thanks ahead of time. PS speedo went out a while ago and I'm considering that a seperate issue, maybe not though???

Re: 1985 318i elec prob

problem solved, took it to a local import car parts store and the guy says "take it out back to the shop", the counter guy out back, introduced me to the electrical guy and he said he could check it out in no time. They suspected the ignition and I told him I had already tried that. I left it with him and he found a relay that wasn't being energized so he ran a fused wire from another point on the ignition and its as good as new. (well as good as a 1985 can be.)
