Need Programming Instructions for 2005 Keyfob Remote
Does anyone have instructions on how to program a 2005 Keyfob Remote? I've searched the forums and haven't found a clear answer on if it can be done or not. Is this a dealer only thing, if so how much does it cost? Bought a newer 05 Malibu and one remote the lock button doesn't work and the other remote that came with it doesn't work at all. Can someone chime in here please.

From what I've heard (not confirmed), most newer car allow one remote to be active at a time. And only the dealer or a locksmith can program this new remotes. Please post back with your resolution as I'm in the process of buying an 05 malibu as well and would like to know.
