check the scenerio

I have a 88 dx hatch and i have come across some parts so im thinkin about goin for it but i want some imput and to make sure it will work.
A 92-95 si head, intake manifold, fuel rail, injectors, throttle body will they all work with my d15 and what else do i need. Can i just not hook up the v-tec at first, untill i can get a v-tec solinoid and other stuff. My d15 has like 160,000 mi, do u think it can handle the add stress, although it has been maintained pretty well. Please help me out, im planning a b16a but need somethin in the meantime to cure the duel point syndrom. Thanks

AC

well he did say that the head comes with the intake mani etc.

just a hint, if you're staying non-OBD and using an external source to activate VTEC and you're using the d16z6 intake manifold, you CANNOT use the injectors. they are saturated injectors as opposed to peak and hold which non-obd is. you'll need injectors & injector resister box out of a CRX/Civic Si, unless you plan to convert to OBD1, in which you can use the d16z6 injectors.

Actually, i would recommend that if you are planning to stay non-OBD, i'd get a crx/civic Si intake manifold because all the vacuum lines are right there and easy to run as opposed to the d16z6 intake manifold which you have to reroute some vacuum lines.
