Re: hooking up a stereo
im having the same problem as the first guy , i bought a 1999 pontiac grand am off my buddy an he had a pretty decent system in it, but took it out an added a better 1 , but before i boought the car he took the better 1 out , so now i got this car with a empty space in the dash an need to find out which wires are which ..,Can any1 help me out?

Welcome to AF FittedChamp420.
IN the future, please look at the earlier post dates. If it's older then three months, it doesn't need brought back up.  Your post has been moved.  Here is a link to wire diagrams. http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/...d/Pontiac.html It should work as long as the stock wires were used, other wise youre gonna need to work it out the hard way.
