Get a used one, look on (car-part.com) That's how I found mine. Try Marshalls Auto Parts, Inc. USA-OH(Circleville) Request_Quote 1-800-333-2104.

Re: Need Fuel Pump Hangar/housing Asap

thanks 67..after calling literally every neumber on the site i found one for $100. should be here by saturday. Question: i finally got the old unit out of the rode, i hooked it up to the battery and it worked. it was very lightly humming. so i reconnected it up to the tank harness and turned the key to "on" but nothing. i swapped out the relays again and still nothing. all fuses rechecked and good. if i remember right the pump was loud when you turn the key, so coul dit be that it was going and just doesnt have enough juice?

Re: Need Fuel Pump Hangar/housing Asap

Since I got a used pump, what I did was cut a plastic jug and put a little gas in it and ran a rubber fuel line off of the sender back into the jug. I hooked it up to the connector under the rodeo and had the wife turn on the key. It ran for the 2 sec. and stopped like it was supposed to. I then had here crank the engine and I got constant flow. Thats what I did to verify it worked before installing everything. Just remember no cage lights or anything electrical nearby.

I think maybe you had the polarity backwards when you jumpered it to the battery and it was actually spinning backwards. Try swapping the wires and see if it works then.

Re: Need Fuel Pump Hangar/housing Asap

I feel your pain. Let me tell you how I spent parts of the last 4 days trying to find the correct aluminum crush washer for the drain and fill plugs on my TJ. Think the local big chain parts stores have it? No. Smaller independent shops? No. Tire shop (don't know exactly what I was thinking there)? Nope. The dealership? "See all those zeroes on the screen?" Local hardware? "You have to go to an auto store for that." Online parts suppliers for the AX-15 manual trans used in Jeeps and Dodge trucks? No luck. Finally found them at Rockauto.com. Let's see what shows up in the mail.

Go over to www.planetisuzoo.com and check the forums and send a PM to JLEMOND. He is great at finding parts!! I get almost all of my stuff from him.
