Question 95 lumina over heating Help please :)

My 95 Lumina overheats after approx 5 min of driving, the coolant fills tank when engine running, disappears when shut off, after over heating when shut off radiator clicks. Just recently had oil change they said looked like too much water in my coolant, when bled radiator, mech lost the bleeder screw and replaced it with nonfitting screw and hammered it in and car still overheating..... any ideas? No idea where to begin, never done cooling system. thanks

Welcome to AF, clogged radiator, bad t'stat, air in the system, bad head gasket, all possibiliites, no quick answer here, normal cooling system diagnosis needs to be done, get it to a qualified tech if need be.

agree 100%, but would like to add this. make the jackass that lost the bleeder screw and "hammered" in a different one fix his mistake the right way!
