beatle brakes

What is a VAG1331 tool?I looked on all data says to use it or like?I tryed my allen wrenches 6mm to small 8 too big no standard I had came close do they even make a 7 mm allen to get the calipers off?

The correct size is 7mm and it may not be in normal Allen Key assortments but should be available separately as a 7mm hex allen socket - either to fit a 3/8 or 1/2 inch drive. I'd try a motorbike shop as they are used on most Jap and Pommy bikes. Do a Google on Vag-com to find out about them....they are expensive but some enthusiasts swear by them.
