'99 Jetta Alarm problems
Hello, my alarm goes off randomly. Sometimes if my trunk is open, sometimes when I put my key in the front door. It is driving me crazy. I saw this post about disabling the alarm from a different user. Does this work for a '99 Jetta?
The module is located above the driver's feet, behind the knee panel. It has two connectors, one 6-pin and one 10-pin. Dicsconnect the module & remove. In order to keep the starter functional you must take the red & red/black wires from pin #5 & #6 of the 6-pin connector & connect them to each other. Thank you! |
