My SHO has a problem and I dont know if I should ignore it. The Check Engine Light comes on when I am taking off from a full stop until I reach about 35MPH then it goes off. It doesnt stop the car or ridles rough or anything like that. As a matter of fact, the car runs like new but I dont want to see this light on. I was told to check or maybe replace the Mass Flow Sensor. Any ideas?

Re: 95 SHO "Check Engile Light"
You need to take it somewhere and get the CEL codes. I know Autozone and Advance parts places will pull the codes for free. Go to the dealer and he will charge $85 for the same thing. We need the codes to help you.

Re: 95 SHO "Check Engile Light"
Your 1995 Taurus is OBD, and therefore you can read the codes with a multimeter or simple jumper wire. To see how the do this, visit this site. The method to read the codes can be found at the bottom of the page. Carefully follow the steps and post back wtih the codes.

I am very cool with my mechanic and I am sure he will pull the codes for me and I will report in the next couple of days.
