95 Nissan Truck Help

I have a 95 Nissan truck with 5 speed manual that develope some new problems. At first the check engine light would come on when getting off the freeway when decellarating. Once stop with it idling, the ck light would go off.

Now (at times) when running at any speed I let off the gas and it wants to slow down - as before it would like to coast while slowing down. Kind of rough when letting off the gas.

I also notice that the idle is about 1500 until I step on the gas again and than it slows down. At times it does idle about 400 rpm, the ck light come on until I speed it up a little and it stays off.

No auto parts can read a 95 Nissan or older truck. They try and sell me a $250.00 or more reader.

Anyone have had the same problems or know how to read the code. Thanks
