well......,i removed my map sensor to take out this filter thingy,
but the only thing i found was oil in my intake. any idea's please let me know if its allright or horribly wrong thanx guys

There is a screen in the intake near the MAF. Why are you taking out this filter?

i meant maf not map. my bad. max, i read on a diff board that owners of early 90's luminas were popping the honeycomb shaped screen off. for what reason im not sure, in fact, i couldnt find it on mine so i'm assuming the previous owner had already did it. it obviously hasnt hurt my car any since i've had it for some time now with no issues as far as that goes. i would never tell someone to do something that would hurt their car in any way. just tossing ideas out. i know i've done some crazy things to mine "experimenting". ill toss the link here for ya to check out if I come across it again...
