So Besides Cam Failure....?
Besides cam failures whats the main problems that i may need to worry about with this 98 sho in the future? it has a rebuilt trans and welded cams.... whats common faults on these cars? I know struts and springs were common... i honestly dont know TOO much about these Gen III sho's

Sounds like you've got a handle on the big ones, the cams and the trans. Many of the common Taurus issues also plague the SHO such as suspension (like you mention), steering components (tie rod ends, ball joints, etc) and there have been people with rear brake line failures. I live in the rust belt (Iowa) and have not heard of a lot of brake line failures though, so I wonder if that's limited to just a short production run of cars.
