Looks like it could be a radar detector, but the usb port and antenna look more like a GPS unit.

Thanks! so it's more a GPS? can people use this to track where you are? instead of yourself using it to find where you are?

It looks like one that hooks into a laptop and turns the laptop into a nav device, but you'll need probably the software for it to work.
