Speaker advice.
Hey all. The 2001 rodeo I bought last week has the eight speaker system. It sounds fairly good but I plan to upgrade. I went to the crutchfield website to get speaker sizes. The very rear are 4". The rear doors are 6.5". And the front are no larger than 5.25". My question is....does anyone know a good speaker to go in the front that reqiures little to no custom fitting? Thanks.

Re: Speaker advice.
The front speakers are an odd shape. The are 5.25" but the hole spacing is the same as 6.5" but, 6.5" speakers wont fit without a little modifying.
HERE is a write up on fitting 6.5" speakers in there.

Re: Speaker advice.
The 6.5's will fit depending on the speaker,
I had Polk DB 6.5 in there, and now I got Polk 6.5 Momos. The DB fit almost fine and the momos did not. |
