Absolute.
It's bolted to the flywheel starter ring gear. Always in motion.
Neutral, and Park just reroute the oil pressure.
Your shift lever is operating valves, that oil pressure applies to clutches.

The oil circuit is quite complex. Difficult to follow path, similar to a integrated circuit card.

I looked for an example for Torque Converter and here is one source.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torque_converter
It will show the different types.

Also here is a pretty good site found by quick Google search.

Ah, not quite. Keep in mind the TC is rotating with the engine.
There can only be one spot to connect, and that's already taken by the front pump at the center.
The cooling lines are ported from the pump circuits out to side of tranny case.
Are you attempting to do an oil cooler?

I just want to understand how the fluid exit the TC and gets cool.

I might also want to install a new oil cooler.

So the oil pump sucks the fluid from the sump.
Now the fluid goes in the TC.
Then when and where the fluid exits the TC and gets cool?
