05 auto trans fluid

The owner's manual specifies T-lV ATF. Is this the actual name of it at the parts place or is this a Chev. number. Need to know what to buy at the parts place and capacity if anyone knows. Thanks

T-lV ATF is a type of trans fluid, not a GM part number.

The dealer is the best and cheapest place to get the GM type atf+4 FLUID.
5 qts usually gets it. But sometimes a little more.
Always recheck fluid level hot after a 20-30 minute drive.
