My 95 Olds transmission doesn't work, Need help!
My 95 Oldsmobil Cutlass Supreme was running fine. Tonight when I was driving I found that I cannot accelerate above 40 m/h and within few minutes I also found that I cannot accelerte at all. I entered a parking lot and found that I can shift my transmission but my car doesn't move. I heard some noise in the engine on the road when this is happened. Is my Transmission is bad/gone or it is a timing belt/Chain problem? I am very upset with my car. Any help/suggestion will be appreciated very much. Thanks.

Re: My 95 Olds transmission doesn't work, Need help!
Welcome to AF.
Sounds like your trans might be bad, but have you checked the fluid level ? Is it brown/black and smells horrid ? Probly should get it into a trans shop ASAP and hav them scan it to see what's wrong. Could be anything from a clog, a bad shift solenoid, or your toque converter could be broken/damaged. I would try not to rev it up while in gear if it isnt moving. You could do more damage then what might be done already, and trans repairs are NOT cheap! Good Luck !
