Air-cooled GB: Porsche 959
This is not really a WIP as it's almost done. But what the hey right
![]() It's Tamiya 1/24 kit with TS 26 Pure white polished and waxed. ![]() I never really liked the original 959 wheels, so I took the liberty and replaced it. The new wheels are staggered from R32 Skyline JGTC. The rear wheels are added with some leftover sleeves, the tires are stock. ![]() The wheels received wash treatment to bring out the bolts and tone down the chrome a bit. I am still considering the idea of painting the centerpiece silver of gunmetal. ![]() I had to sand down the brake hubs to ensure that the wheels are not sticking out of the fenders. ![]() The engine bay is lightly detailed with hoses, wires, and weathered. I will post pics of the engine by itself later. ![]() Thank you for looking, C&Cs are greatly appreciated

Cool, one of my very favorites. Off to a good start, looking forward to seeing more of the engine.

Re: Air-cooled GB: Porsche 959
Looks great. The 959 always looked great in white.
Like the wheels. The wash looks perfect. If I should change anything I would paint the center piece of the rims dark bronze, almost gunmetal. But it still looks great as it is.
