Starting Problems?????

Hi there I have a 90 Century v6 and I am having troubles....

Car ran last night but did not start this morning, thought I might of run out of gas so I put a jerry can of gas in, still no start.... Changed fuel filter... still no.... changed plugs three days ago, wires are newer.

The car is Cranking but not firing but tries to cough, I can hear the fuel pump energizing everytime I turn the key, Have a charger on the battery so there is lots of juice,

Not sure whats wrong need to get to work..... PLEASE HELP

Thank you

Re: Starting Problems?????

Welcome to AF, basic diagnostics here, got strong spark?, have fuel pressure at the rail ( with a gage)?, will it run spraying carb cleaner into the intake?

Re: Starting Problems?????

Have the coil packs checked out, Had strong spark in my cavalier, but the packs were bad. Fuel pressure is another thing like maxwedge said.
