94 accord ex i need help!!!!!

ok im a rook lol i have a 94 honda accord ex. f22b sohc swapped to a f22b sohc out of a 96 accord ex same motor different year . here is where my problem come into play it starts idols fine put it in reverse bla sputters flickers and dies "check engine light come on and stays on ". put it in neutral it starts idols runs fine put it into drive from neutral it drives when i reach speeds of like 40 get of the gas to maintain speed " it sputters and wants to die check engine light again " if i get back on the gas it will run fine till i let off the gas pedal again. ok the guy that helped me do it used the wiring harnes from the 94 i know i tryed to tell him lol but he was my only help i told him about the odb1 from the 94 and the 96 being odb2a he said well i put a jumper wire in there and the problem is the sylonoids in the tranny i told him it is prolly the ecu odb2a problem . well i found a tranny local and told him about it and he threw a fit said he would not help me it is 75 bucks he is upset because i don't have three hundred to go buy the new sylonoids i don't wanna spend 300 on a hunch u know what i mean. hmmm got me but anyhow my daily driver/family car is running like dookie i parked it but i really need it running like yesterday what can i do ? i used mostly all of my cash getting the engine from japan /plus shipping and all my fluids /new plugs wires fluids and eveerything else i have spent over a thousand and it is really becoming a head ache i thought i could do in a few hours so some one please help at min. cost help me fix this i will need a walk threw aswell thx jeremy "loyal honda driver"
