There are a couple simple things you can do: carb/TB spacer, open element air cleaner, electric cooling fan, roller rockers (not sure what fits the 2.8), high flow cat, catback exhaust or just high flow muffler. Just have reasonable expectations when you do start modifying it.

I dont know where my friend got it. or even if they can still be found but a friend of mine has a 4 barrel carb intake for a 2.8. i have never in my life seen another one, and i probably never will. in was interesting looking.

wait did it fit?? because I have a 2.8 and there doesn't look like there is much room for it. cause i would like to do that
