Exclamation 95 Continental "Fuel Flow Data Error"????

My 95 Continental won't start The driver display on the instrument panel says "Fuel Flow Data Error" Scanner shows no codes found. I have called several Lincoln dealerships and no-one knows what this means. Any suggestions would be helpfull!

Bunch of morons...

Two possibilities exist here, both can cause the same error code.

1st) and most likely the Fuel Pump Relay is not functioning.
2nd) since it gets its command to 'run' from the PCM, the PCM could be the cause.

Quote:
Fuel Pump Relay

The fuel pump relay supplies power to the fuel pump when the powertrain control module (PCM) grounds the relay during START and engine running conditions.
You can simulate this 'grounding' operation to determine if the problem is coming from the PCM or the Relay.

Also, Just to be on the safe side, ignoring this error code for the time being, check the Inertia Fuel Shutoff (IFS) Switch to be sure it's not tripped.

Since this revolves around Fuel Pressure, you'll eventually be testing for pressure in the fuel rails as part of this diagnosis as well.
