Firing Help Plz Help
Ok so I have a dakota r/t a 99 and i recently put a new engine in it and when i pulled the engine i tore the crank sensor i replaced it as well as the crank sensor. Ok so my problem is I can't get it to fire on all cylinders i have already changed the cap rotor and wires as long as plugs i can't even get a spark from the cap are there any suggestions i have checked my fuel pressure and its ok... I have also made sure my cap and rotor are on right and now i'm out of ideas

You should be able to pull any error codes from the OBDII ECM using a scan tool. That will probably give you your first clues on where to look. I would find it hard to believe that an engine running as you describe would not set any trouble codes...just because the "check engine" light isn't on doesn't mean there are no trouble codes stored.
Barring that, my first guess would be to ensure the spark plug wires go to the correct cylinders. Also make sure that all cylinders get a good spark. A weak spark can cause plug fouling. Then make sure all vacuum hoses are connected properly and have no leaks. Spray carb cleaner around the hose connections...if the engine changes idle speed, hesitates, or dies, you've homed in on the leak. Good luck!
