95 Town Car Intake
Hey guys, I noticed that my intake is leaking on the front drivers side kinda by/under the thermostant housing. I know its the gasket, but my question is do I have to replace the intake as well?
Thanks.. Bryan

Re: 95 Town Car Intake
Hi Bryan.
1st, do you have the upgraded Intake Manifold with the Aluminum front coolant crossover, or the factory installed Manifold with the composite front crossover? If you still have the factory 100% composite manifold, the leak you see now might be a fine crack developing in the front coolant crossover.

Re: 95 Town Car Intake
Hey Steve. It is solid cast aluminum. Not plastic.

Quote:
If your castings are bad, you might be able to fortify the seal with some goop as mentioned previously.
